The Fall Line

a true-crime serial podcast investigating under-reported and unsolved cases in the Southeast and beyond: cold-case homicides, missing persons cases, unidentified persons (John and Jane Does) and interviews with forensic experts who break cass via anthropology. IGG/DNA, and much more.

 WHAT WE COVER

THE FALL LINE® is an independent true-crime podcast dedicated to deep-dive investigations into cold cases that have received little, if any, public attention. Our mission is to provide a platform for under-reported and under-investigated cases, focusing on unsolved murders, unidentified persons (John and Jane Does), and long-term disappearances.

Geographic Focus

While we primarily cover cases throughout the Southeastern United States, we work with families, advocacy organizations, and law enforcement departments across the entire United States. We prioritize cold cases that have lacked mainstream media coverage due to intersectional issues and instances where the formal investigation has stalled.

Narrative & Forensic Approach

THE FALL LINE® offers:

  • Long-form coverage of missing and murdered people across America.

  • Expert interviews with forensic professionals and cold-case advocates.

  • Deep dives into cases of unidentified human remains.

  • Forensic Science & Technology: We explore cutting-edge investigative tools, including Investigative Genetic Genealogy (IGG) and advanced DNA technology, that could lead to the identification of the unidentified.

Our Team

We are a very small, independent team and are not currently seeking contractors or hiring for any positions. We do not hire out any writing or production tasks.

Transcripts are available for Deaf and HOH listeners by request.
