Salvador “Chava” Sanchez Azcona: a young man who’d moved to East Naples, Florida, who disappeared in 2016.

Pepita Madelyn Redhair: Pepita disappeared in March of 2020 during the Covid pandemic after leaving her mother’s home in Crownpoint (Navajo Nation) to travel to her boyfriend’s home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Marcus Oubre: In August of 2023, Louisiana native Marcus Oubre left his home in Baton Rouge on a late evening Wal-Mart run. Then, instead of returning home, he headed southeast. Hours later, his wrecked car was discovered near St. John Parish, and Marcus had vanished.

Wanda Faye Walker: Wanda Faye Walker vanished in 2016, 17 years after her daughter, Laresha “Deana” Walker, was reported missing. 

Derrick “Tank” Evans, Jr.: In November of 2020, Derrick "Tank" Evans, Jr. vanished in the middle of the day from his Valdosta, Georgia apartment while in the midst of what his family describes as vital cancer treatment.

Laresha “Deana” Walker: In 1999, 23-year-old Nashville, Tennessee resident Laresha “Deana” Walker vanished after dropping off her two-year-old son. 17 years later, her mother, Wanda Faye, also disappeared.

Kaylee Mae Nelson-Jerry: Kaylee Mae Nelson-Jerry of the Washington state Muckleshoot Indian Tribe was only 21 when she vanished in the summer of 2019. Part of our MMIWR/MMIP coverage.

Tiffany Reid parts 1 and 2: On the morning of  May 17th, 2004, Tiffany Reid left her Shiprock, New Mexico (Navajo Nation) home to make the short walk to Northwest High School. According to school officials, she never made it there—and hasn’t been seen since.

Roger Aguirre parts 1 and 2: 22-year-old Roger Aguirre disappeared on November 20, 1975, in Chicago, Illinois. He was one of many young men and boys who went missing in the city in the ‘70s—and has been considered a possible match for an unidentified victim of John Wayne Gacy.

Calvin William Martinez parts 1 and 2: Calvin Willie Martinez last called his family from an Albuquerque truck stop on Mother's Day 2019, promising he was heading home — but he never arrived. Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage.

Melissa Ann Montoya parts 1 and 2: On St. Patrick's Day 2001, 42-year-old Melissa Montoya was last seen with loved ones at the Apache House of Liquor in Dulce, New Mexico, on the Jicarilla Apache Nation Reservation. Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage.

Patricia “Patty” Otto parts 1 and 2: After Patricia Otto's mysterious late-night disappearance in August of 1976, her daughter must untangle childhood memories, law enforcement's suspicions about her own father, and a possible connection to an unidentified Jane Doe discovered just two hours away.

Cloudia Wells parts 1 and 2: Robin's search for her missing mother, Cloudia Leslie Wells, led her to become an advocate for missing persons in unhoused communities — and though she believes Cloudia could be anywhere, she's had proof of that once before.

Leona LeClair Kinsey parts 1 2 and 3: MMIWG advocate and founder of the Missing and Murdered Native Americans Facebook page, Carolyn DeFord has another role: daughter of a missing person — her mother, Leona LeClair Kinsey, who disappeared in October 1999. Sonya Tukes parts 1 and 2: In 2004, young mother Sonya Tukes disappeared after leaving her home in Tennille, Georgia.

Patrick Allen Guild parts 1 and 2: Patrick "Pat" Allen Guild came to Nashville chasing a songwriting dream, but ended up living in an encampment near the I-24 overpass — and when he vanished around December of 1991, his daughter Shannon was left to untangle a complicated life.

Ricky Lee Franks parts 1 and 2: On June 7th, 1985, Ricky Lee Franks returned to Nashville, briefly saw his family, and vanished — and years later, reports surfaced of a stranger calling himself Ricky Franks traveling across the Southeast.

Bula Mae Robertson: In October of 1993, Warner Robins, Georgia mother Bula Mae Robertson vanished late one night, leaving her teenage daughters with no answers — and as the city's oldest active missing persons case, her family hopes a reward will finally bring someone forward.

Janice “Becky” LaPlant, parts 1 and 2: Tracy's search for her missing mother Janice "Becky" LaPlant takes a stunning turn when she receives life-changing news in real time during production.

Carlos Ariel Delgado: Carlos Delgado disappeared in 1997, but no accessible public record of his case exists — and without a NamUs listing or any formal documentation his family can reach, his son Hugo and niece Sheila have spent years fighting just to be heard.

Atlanta Lovers Lane Murders Series parts 1 2 3: In 1977--before the Atlanta Child Murders would grip the city--an unknown gunman stalked Atlanta's parks, looking for couples who'd sought the privacy of unofficial 'lover's lanes.' Between January and March, he killed three people and critically wounded three more. 

Zachariah Juwaun Shorty. parts 1 and 2: Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage, Zach’s case was solved in 2025 (after release of these episodes). On July 21st, 2020, 23-year-old Zachariah Juwaun Shorty was murdered on the Navajo Nation reservation.

Jacky Nguyen and Nut Pham parts.1 and 2: Just after Christmas 2010, Birmingham nail-salon owners Jacky Nguyen and Nhut Phan were murdered in their store — and more than a decade later, their children are still waiting for answers.

Travis Smith: parts 1 and 2: In 2012, 28-year-old Travis Smith was attacked and killed by apparent strangers in North Augusta, South Carolina, without any known motive — and his murder remains unsolved.

Princella Eppes parts 1 and 2: In July of 1990, Princella “Lady Bird” Eppes, was killed in her Atlanta, Georgia apartment.

Elia Banderas: in 1996, Elia Banderas, a housekeeper at a luxury hotel in Atlanta, Georgia, was killed while cleaning a room.

Robert Martin: In 2001, Robert Martin was attacked and killed in Ashburn, GA, in what is suspected to be a homophobic hate crime.

Tracey Thompson: Tracey, a transgender woman, was attacked and killed in Seville, GA in what is suspected to be a hate crime.

Brittany Locklear: A kindergartner from the Lumberton area of North Carolina who was kidnapped and killed in 1998.

NiShan Huff: A young woman killed in her own apartment in Greenville, SC, in 2006. Two arrests were made after our coverage, but the charges were dropped as of 2023. Update episode, 2022: Update

LeRyan Nicholson: Our season-length series on the 1998 disappearance and murder of Leyan Nicholson of Nashville, Tennessee—a young man who was a John Doe for decades.

Terrianne Summers: a transgender woman murdered in front of her own home in Jacksonville, Florida in December, 2001, after an alleged dispute with neighbors.

Deasha Andrews: a transgender woman murdered in Jacksonville, Florida, in August of 2002.

Eric Nelams parts 1 and 2: Army veteran and father Eric Nelams, 32, was shot and killed outside his Phenix City, Alabama home on September 26, 2003.

Rose Goodman parts 1 and 2: In September of 2023, 80-year-old Rose Goodman was found shot in the home she’d lived in for 50 years. 

Armani Dante Morgan parts 1 and 2: In May of 2017, Armani Morgan, a Dallas native living in the Oak Cliff area of the city, was systemically stalked and assaulted; he disappeared, and his remains were discovered in an unsolved homicide that remains open today.

Catherina “Catrina” Mowrey parts 1 and 2: The unsolved 1985 murder of Catrina Mowrey, a young woman who’d moved to Dallas, Texas at age 18.

Larry “LJ” Sanders:In 2010, Edgefield, South Carolina father of two Larry "LJ" Sanders, Jr. was murdered during a home invasion — and his mother, Carolyn Bates, is still waiting for someone in the close-knit North Augusta community to come forward with answers.

The Atlanta Ripper Series: parts 1 2 3: The first episode in our three-part series covering the historical Atlanta Ripper murders, a little-known series of homicides attributed to a person--or persons--operating in Atlanta, GA between 1911-1914. . . and possibly beyond.

Princeton Morris parts 1 and 2: In May of 2022, Princeton Morris was shot and killed in his own East Point apartment in Metro Atlanta.

Candrick Begay and Anthony McCants: On April 5th, 2023, Candrick Begay and Anthony McCants—husbands and fathers who were employed at the Highway 64 Salvage Yard in Farmington, New Mexico—were murdered while at work. Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage.

Georgia Leah (Lee) Moses, parts 1 and 2: In 1998, Georgia Moses was murdered in Petaluma, California — and decades later, her sister Angel is pursuing resolution through her own investigation and the power of social media.

Jamie Ray TakesGun: n October of 2022, 47-year-old husband and father Jamie Ray TakesGun was found beaten to death in an apartment in Great Falls, Montana. Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage.

Velecia “Lisa” Lewis parts 1 and 2: In January of 1999, 27-year-old college senior and expectant mother Velecia "Lisa" Lewis was just months away from graduating and welcoming her baby when she was murdered in her South Memphis, Tennessee apartment.

Iman Cannon parts 1 and 2: On May 13th, 2008, the body of 21-year-old Tennessee native Iman Cannon was discovered behind an Atlanta business complex housing Club Crucial, a night spot founded by rapper TI.

Juan Leon Laureles: In 1996, Leon Laureles was murdered in Brown County, Texas — a case many view as an unacknowledged hate crime that has never been solved. You. can find out more in our 2024 update episode.

Susie Walker Quinn: Beloved wife, mother, and Macon County community member Susie Walker Quinn was murdered in 1986 — and nearly four decades later, her case remains unsolved.

Matthew Rattlesnake Grant parts 1 and 2: Matthew Rattlesnake Grant was murdered on the Blackfeet Indian Reservation in December of 2016, and his family in the United States and Canada continue fighting for arrests in his case and broader recognition of the MMIP crisis.Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage.

Susana Morales: In 2022, 16-year-old Susana Morales disappeared and was murdered — and when off-duty officer Miles Bryant was charged with her killing, the details of his behavior told a story that contradicted the official account her family had been given.

Darren Gray parts 1 and 2: On May 8th, 2010, 24-year-old Darren Gray was beaten to death by a group of men during his child's birthday party at a Norfolk-area park — and though some suspects were convicted of the assault, his murderers remain at large.

Chairo Garibay parts 1 2 3: On December 11th, 2005, 20-year-old Chairo Garibay Ferreyra left for church with her family in Olivehurst, California and never arrived — it would be five weeks before she was found, and despite a $50,000 reward, no one has ever been arrested for her murder.

Tyra Garcia parts 1 and 2 :In 1985, Ventura County teen Tyra Garcia disappeared and was later found murdered near her home — her family always knew she hadn't run away, and now her sister Tanya has had the case reactivated and is pursuing answers with the help of an advocate. Garnet Lennox:In May 2007, Garnet Lennox, a loving father and Michigan native, disappeared. Within a week, his car, and his body, would be found in East Detroit, and his sons, parents, and brothers were left to try and piece together who had killed Garnet, and why.

Moses Williams parts 1 and 2: On Super Bowl Sunday 2012, 19-year-old Moses "Fat Man" Williams Jr. was shot in his car on the streets of Aiken, South Carolina — and despite witnesses nearby, no one would say who killed the young father who worked seven days a week to support his family.

Xiaojia Grace Chen parts 1 and 2: In February 2014, Grace Chen — mother, language school owner, and beloved Austin community member — was murdered just steps from her own school, and years later her son Jacky and community advocates are still searching for answers.

Wilma June Nissen parts 1 and 2: In October of 1978, an unidentified woman was found off a rural Iowa highway — and it would take 28 years to learn her name was Wilma June Nissen, and that her identification would lead directly to a daughter determined to solve her murder.

Geraldine DeLoach Series, 1 2 3: In 1991, Geraldine "Whoodie" DeLoach — beloved for her bubbly personality and generous spirit — was murdered in Statesboro, Georgia, and her large, close-knit family has spent thirty years trying to understand how anyone could have killed her.

Dennis Doe: Now-identified former John Doe known as "Dennis Doe," William DaShawn Hamilton, found in Dekalb County, GA, in 1999. Update episode: Identified

Christmas Doe: the 1988 Ware County Jane Doe known as "Christmas Doe,” now identified as Kenyatta Odom. Update episode: Identified

Julie Doe: Julie Doe, former Jane Doe and probable homicide victim found along a Florida highway in 1988, is a transgender woman who was initially classified as a cisgender woman. She has now been identified as Pamela Leigh Walton.

Sherry or Cheryl Jane Doe:In March of 1976, a young woman was found in Nashville's Harpeth River carrying a photo of a little boy, with witnesses placing her hitchhiking from Minnesota with a mysterious companion — and decades later, "Sherry" Jane Doe remains unidentified, her best hope a daughter who may tie her to South Carolina.

Leo Jane Doe: In March of 1998, a homicide victim was recovered from Nashville's Cumberland River with no identification and a single "Leo" astrological charm as her only clue. She has now been identified as Diane Minor (see Does Identified, updates)

Beaufort County Jane Doe: a 1995 homicide victim discovered in Beaufort, South Carolina who has now been identified as Maria Telles-Gonzalez.

Cedartown Jane Doe: a victim discovered in in Cedartown, Polk County, Georgia, in 2003, after a house fire. Her name may have been “Andrea.”

Richland County Jane Doe: 1982 Jane Doe who died at a state hospital in Columbia, SC; now identified as Virginia Higgins Ray.

Glynn County Jane Doe: A Jane Doe homicide victim discovered in Brunswick, Georgia in 1990.

Grays Harbor Jane Doe: Discovered in a rural area of Grays Harbor County, Washington in 1988, the Grays Harbor Jane Doe's identity has resisted thousands of hours of investigation, and the DNA Doe Project now needs the public's help to finally name her and solve her murder.

Leona LeClair Kinsey parts 1 2 and 3: MMIWG advocate and founder of the Missing and Murdered Native Americans Facebook page, Carolyn DeFord has another role: daughter of a missing person — her mother, Leona LeClair Kinsey, who disappeared in October 1999. Pepita Madelyn Redhair: Pepita disappeared in March of 2020 during the Covid pandemic after leaving her mother’s home in Crownpoint (Navajo Nation) to travel to her boyfriend’s home in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Leo Jane Doe: In March of 1998, a homicide victim was recovered from Nashville's Cumberland River with no identification and a single "Leo" astrological charm as her only clue. She has now been identified as Diane Minor (see Does Identified, updates)

Beaufort County Jane Doe: a 1995 homicide victim discovered in Beaufort, South Carolina who has now been identified as Maria Telles-Gonzalez.

Cedartown Jane Doe: a victim discovered in in Cedartown, Polk County, Georgia, in 2003, after a house fire. Her name may have been “Andrea.”

Richland County Jane Doe: 1982 Jane Doe who died at a state hospital in Columbia, SC; now identified as Virginia Higgins Ray.

NiShan Huff: A young woman killed in her own apartment in Greenville, SC, in 2006. Two arrests were made after our coverage, but the charges were dropped as of 2023. Update episode, 2022: Update

Raymond Lamar Green: An update with Donna Green from our Grady Babies coverage.

Julie Doe: Julie Doe, former Jane Doe and probable homicide victim found along a Florida highway in 1988, is a transgender woman who was initially classified as a cisgender woman. She has now been identified as Pamela Leigh Walton.

Zachariah Juwaun Shorty. parts 1 and 2: Part of our MMIP/MMIWR coverage, Zach’s case was solved in 2025 (after release of these episodes). On July 21st, 2020, 23-year-old Zachariah Juwaun Shorty was murdered on the Navajo Nation reservation.
